Imuse Barbershop

With his extensive collection of vintage and heritage furniture & collectables, the owner Henry was determined to make his new place a period accurate recreation of a  classic barbershop.

Working with Henry and his collection, we designed a space that respected historical precedents and while making adjustments to accommodate contemporary comforts. A five seat barbershop with an attached cafe, the design tucks neatly in a 100sqm foot print. With custom cabinetry and a facade design that harks back to the golden age of men’s grooming, the barbershop features a seamless integration of the old and new.
